Cecelia’s Marketplace, publisher of the Gluten Free Grocery Shopping Guide, now has two new books out. Recently released were a Gluten and Casein (Dairy) Free guide, and a Gluten/Casein (Dairy)/Soy Free guide.
I was very pleasantly surprised to discover this at the recent GIG conference. Most of my patients have more than just a gluten issue, as do I. Gluten and dairy free is relevant to a far greater number of people in my office, and adding the soy is also going to benefit many of my patients.
These shopping guides contain thousands of products on the market, listed by food category. For example, there are sections for cereals, breads, bars, deli meats, cookie mixes, etc. It is a very practical guide that will help you with your daily shopping needs. It will also give you an excellent idea about what is available that meets your requirement. Even if they don’t have it at your grocery store, you can always request it or order it online.
I encourage everyone to use these books. There is nothing else like them. They come in a handy small booklet size that you can take to the store with you, or do some homework ahead of time and create a list of your favorite things. And best of all, they are produced by a couple from Michigan, Dainis and Mara, two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.
